About Homegrown Studio

Our Story

Homegrown Studio began with a simple belief: that making something with your hands can change the way you see the world. Founded in 2019 by Elena Marchand, a lifelong maker and community organizer, the studio started as a modest workshop space in a converted storefront — a long table, a shelf of supplies, and an open door for anyone curious enough to walk through it.

What started as weekend pottery sessions and the occasional candle-making class quickly grew into something much larger. Word spread, and soon the studio was hosting birthday parties for kids who wanted to get their hands dirty, team-building retreats for companies looking for something beyond the usual offsite, and late-night workshops for adults rediscovering the joy of creating without a screen in front of them.

Today, Homegrown Studio is a full creative hub — a place where beginners and seasoned makers alike come together to learn, celebrate, and connect. Every workshop is led by practicing artists, every party is designed around the guest of honor, and every event is built on the idea that creativity is not a talent reserved for the few. It is a practice, and everyone is welcome to begin.
